Jessica Millar

Owner

My name is Jessica Millar and I am the owner of Accountable Bookkeeping. I am 41 years of age with a young family (Max, 6 and Caitlin, 10) and a supportive husband. In addition to Accountable Bookkeeping, my husband and I also own Albany Auto Air 2008 Limited, a mobile automotive air conditioning business for the last 12 years.

I have my Diploma in Business, I am  Xero Certified. I am Xero Payroll Certified. I have completed my Certificate in Bookkeeping and I am always on the hunt for new things to learn!

I am a member of the Institute of Certified New Zealand Bookkeepers and I hold my Black Badge.

Carla Thorne

Senior Bookkeeper

Hi, I am  Carla. After 8 years as a stay at home mum, I rejoined the workforce and found myself working for the lovely Jess.  Its been a busy time this year between working part-time and spending family time with my hubby and 3 kids.

In my spare time (hehe) I enjoy baking, reading, and have just taken up sewing again.

I have become Xero and Payroll certified.  I have completed my Certificate in Bookkeeping.

I am a member of the Institute of Certified New Zealand Bookkeepers and I hold my Black Badge.

In 2017 Jessica was lucky enough to win the “Emerging Bookkeeper of the year 2017” This was a massive achievement within being in business only 18 months.
